Hi everyone,
My name is Mavela. I am a mother of three children, a full-time primary school teacher, an author, and an entrepreneur.
With the many hats that I wear, I rarely get time to do (high-intensity) exercise, even though I really want to!
You know that there's sometimes a little voice in your head that says do some exercise, but then your body or mind seems to have a stronger willpower!
Today, after serving my children and tidying my home, I heard a little voice say, "Just go and lie down for a little bit!" But then I heard another voice say: "Just push yourself and do some exercise!"
After minutes of deliberating, I decided to do the exercise. To be honest, I was even motivated to do exercise in the first place after watching Steven Bartlett and Dr Rhonda Patrick's podcast which talked about how high intensity workouts has a plethora of benefits, such as increasing your life! https://lnkd.in/eg3g78jZ
I know that I want to continue to be as strong and healthy as I age. I know that I want to be happy as age and doing high intensity exercise has a big part to play in that.
The good thing about exercise is that it is an invaluable tool. We can all do it, and it is so accessible! We just need to make the time, and this would be more easily done if we recognise how important it is!
So, how important is exercise to you? How regularly do you do it?
